For reasons I can’t fully explain, I find myself in possession of not one, not two, but four green leather jackets. And somehow, it’s not enough. While my tireless scouring might not have netted me a jacket just yet, I have come to appreciate just how many color suede trucker jackets are out there these days. It’s a wonderful time to be in the market for such things, so if you’ve ever wanted to be known for your unique leather jacket now is your chance.
1) Corridor: Suede Trucker Jacket – Tobacco
While yes, it is on sale Corridor’s Suede Trucker Jacket is a great entry-level suede jacket even at full price. Available in several colorways, Tobacco is truly the colorful standout of the bucket. With its rusty, orange-ish red hues this casual jacket is sure to turn heads regardless of how you style it. It’s made from a goat suede in a modified type III style that make this the perfect jacket to have as a daily driver.

2) Todd Snyder: Italian Suede Dylan Jacket
Right off the bat we have an offering that is available in a ton of different colorways — five to be exact. Todd Snyder’s Italian Suede Dylan Jacket might not be your typical type III, but the button closure and flapped chest pockets certainly scream trucker jacket as far as I’m concerned. While there are a bunch of great, neutral colors available it’s the navy blue variant that really sings.

3) The Real McCoy’s: Rough Out Leather Western Jacket – Raw Sienna
While you might not immediately consider The Real McCoy’s Rough Out Leather Western Jacket as colorful, upon close look it’s very hard to describe the myriad of copper-toned hues as anything else. Ranging from a light tan to a burnt orange and everything in between, this jacket is a great example of a leather type III. Finished with a contrasting collar, this is the kind of jacket you make into your daily driver. After all, who hasn’t wanted to be identifiable by their beautiful leather jacket at some point in their life?

4) Falcon Garments: T1 Trucker
I’ve owned a lot of leather jackets in my life, and Falcon Garments still remains near the perfect intersection of quality, price, and precise sizing. Their T1 Trucker comes in an absurd number of colorways, with the blood red and steel blue being among the most unique, and is available in both stock and made-to-measure sizes. Based on lesser reproduced type I jacket, it’s wonderful to see this classic style so readily available.

5) Boncoura: Type 3 Suede Cowhide Jacket
Boncoura’s Type III Suede Cowhide Jacket might seem liked just another beige leather trucker to some, but at closer inspection you can see it’s anything but. The leather is truly something to behold, with an exterior like regular cowhide but an interior finished to be nearly indistinguishable form deerhide. It’s made in Japan and is finished with custom, hand-engraved buttons and all the great details you’d expect from a top of the line suede jacket.

Plus One – Iron & Resin: Ojai Goat Suede Jacket
After reading that intro you didn’t think I’d write a whole article without a single green suede trucker jacket, did you? Well I didn’t, and it’s all thanks to Iron & Resin’s Ojai Goat Suede Jacket.
