Samurai Strikes with Wide Chinos Made of 15 oz. Texas Cotton Selvedge Denim

Samurai Jeans SJ48DP 15oz Wide Straight Chinos are end-tier denim chinos. And whilst ‘denim chinos’ is a pretty small niche in which to reach the end tier, take nothing away from just how epic these Samurai chinos are.

The first feature that sets these sammies apart from the pack is the 15 oz. Otokogi selvedge denim. It’s woven exclusively for Samurai from 100% texas cotton made into slub yarns that retain traces of cotton waste for a rugged, craggy texture. These yarns are then woven on vintage shuttle looms, creating a rough and slightly neppy raw selvedge denim that promises high-contrast fades with wear.

The SJ48DP is made in Osaka and features a roomy leg throughout that sits at the waist, offering a truly wide fit that works in both smart and casual settings. In terms of details, Samurai never slacks, and here they’ve fitted these chinos with an iron button fly, tonal stitching, bar tack seam reinforcements, welted back pockets, slash front pockets, welted coin pocket, reinforced belt loops, and classic Samurai silver lamé selvedge ID.
