Ooe Yofukuten Ducks Into the 1870s for Their Tailor Made Waist Overalls

Ooe Yofukuten doesn’t just have one of my favorite names in the game, they’ve also got a new pair of pants to tell you about.

That’s right, pants, not overalls. The 1870s Tailor Made Waist Overalls are (surprise) 1870s-inspired jeans and are a high-wasted affair chock-full of period-correct details like 10oz. duck canvas cloth, single-needle stitching throughout, iron buckle back, a pleated yoke, suspender buttons instead of belt loops, oxidized copper rivets, and a crotch rivet (tip: don’t turn on the heated seats in the car).

Iconic to jeans of the era is a single rear patch pocket, which Ooe Yofukuten has made sure to include on this pre-washed pant with a tapered leg fit. Finally, for those workwear heads that keep it real to the fullest, they’ll be excited to know that these jeans also feature period-correct unfinished seams and cotton stitching.

Available for $285 at Standard & Strange.
