Sometimes, “classic” isn’t a classic, or at least it isn’t in the case of this Oldblue Co. Work Jacket Type III. Like, it looks like* it could’ve been ripped off the back of a dude from the 1900s but it’s apparently a completely new design, according to Standard & Strange.
(*I’m not sure of this fact, but I did see Oklahoma once when I was in middle school and it wasn’t the updated version, so I’m pretty much an expert in early twentieth century styles. That was the same trip that my friend got invited into the conductor car on the subway, so that was important at the time, but not to this jacket in any way at all. Anyways.)
“Loosely based” on a classic Type I and crafted from a plaid, 10.5oz. deadstock cotton fabric, this slim-fitting jacket’s been outfitted with US-made Scovill hardware and features a cinch at the back, a patch pocket at the front waist, a curved yoke at the chest and a rounded collar for good measure.
