Left Field 14oz. Black Sulphur Selvedge Denim Muleskinner Jacket

This summer, after I graduate from college, I’m headed to New York City. But how will I survive all alone in The Big Apple? How will I convey a “don’t mug me, I’m too tough” kinda vibe?

There are lots of ways to dress up and play tough, but a particular New York City brand fits the bill best: Left Field has a new denim jacket that will hopefully keep the ruffians at bay. The 14oz. Black Sulphur Selvedge Denim Muleskinner Jacket already looks badass at first glance, and, upon further inspection, it only gets better.

Modeled on the classic Type I jackets of old, the Muleskinner has a pleated front and a single breast pocket, but, unlike the old Type I, this jacket has two extra hand-warmer pockets. These pockets feature Left Field’s signature bandana pocket bags, in which you can store your pepper spray and switchblade (for self-defense, duh). But the best deterrent of all? This triple-needle stitched, 14oz. black-on-black selvedge denim jacket is dyed with sulphur, so the rotten egg fumes alone will keep your enemies at bay [egg smell dissipates rapidly, don’t rely on it for keeping enemies at bay -Ed].

Available for $258 at Left Field NYC (a 15oz. Kurabo Indigo Selvedge Denim version is available for $350 CAD at NAQP).
