Counted among the few denim artisans in the world, Companion Denim is known for producing some of the finest jeans on the market. The latest release from this Spanish brand is the JAN03A.
Of course, it’s built with all the bells, whistles, and hand-felled seams for which Companion is known: single-needle stitching throughout, leather-backed rivets, hidden rivets, lined rear pockets, tucked belt loops, lined waistband, hemp cord hem, hand-sewn horn trouser button, lined buckle back, and there’s probably more that we’ve missed.
This time, though, it’s made using a denim that’s as beefy as it is slubby – 18oz. Japanese selvedge denim that’s sure to reveal a Fade Friday-worthy jean. You’ll also find a beefy 15oz. duck canvas for the waist lining as well as an 11oz. hickory stripe fabric for the pocket bags.
It’s priced at €360 ($409USD) but it’s currently on pre-order for €335 ($380USD). If you get in on the action now, you also get a free Companion enamel mug. Available at the Companion Denim website.
