Fade Friday – Elhaus Nomad Army Iron Tail (15 Months, 4 Washes, 1 Soak)

It’s Friday and that means the weekend is right around the corner, but first let’s enjoy some killer fades! This pair of Elhaus Nomad Army Iron Tails were worn for a mere 15 months by Dhimas Ridwan of Indonesia, and have almost no indigo left to show for it.

Dhimas tells us that he wears these jeans for normal daily activities such as working, hanging out, and going to university. If you’re wondering how activities like those can result in fades like this, you’re not alone. Look closely or you might miss any small pieces of dark indigo left on these Nomads, residing mostly in the tucks of the densely formed honeycombs and front waist area. The rest of the denim has taken on a super faded grey cast, and it looks like the knees have suffered the most. Dhimas has yet to send them off for repair, but there’s no doubt in our minds that he’ll need to soon in order to keep wearing them.
