When you work in an office five days a week (even one cool enough to let you wear jeans everyday), you’ve got to get your fades on the weekend. And that’s exactly what Heddels reader Zak Wagner of Denver, Colorado, did to earn today’s Fade of the Day spot with his 3sixteen SL-121s.
Whether it’s at work or out on his motorcycle, Zak tells us he wears these jeans no matter what he’s up to. Speaking of riding, these SL-121s accompanied him on a trip from Colorado to California and back, which undoubtedly helped speed up the fading process. With an indigo warp and black weft, this denim takes some effort but ends up changing to that really rich shade of blue we are seeing throughout the knees, thighs, and seat.
Nothing accompanies raw denim better than some natural veg tan leather, and Zak’s got plenty of that going on too, earning its own unique patina over time.
