If you’re walking down the street and you overhear two people talking about the “Ultimate Stomper”, several things could come to mind. Unless one of those things is the latest collaborative release by Alden and Leather Soul, however, you’re probably mistaken. And disappointed.
Call it an Indy Boot with its head cut off, or a dressy moc-toe shoe or whatever else–there’s no arguing that this release is straight class. Way back in 2008, they released a shoe called the Hawaiian Stomper that, almost ten years later, has gotten more requests for a reissue than any of their other models. I guess when the people talk, Leather Soul listens, and if you’re one of the many who have been waiting, the Ultimate Stomper is the answer to all your prayers. This time around, they did it in brown Chromexcel, just like its big brother Indy Boot, making it the perfect go-to casual shoe.
Available for $555 at Leather Soul.
