Heddels reader Alden Hicks, from Virginia, knows how to thrash a pair of raw denim jeans, as you can see from this pair of Gustin Heavy American. Worn daily for over two years now, they’ve been hiked in and, in Alden’s words, otherwise “abused,” leaving them with some dirty fades that are perfect for today’s instalment of Fade Of The Day.
Alden has lost count of how many times he’s had to wash these jeans, but they’ve still retained a fair amount of indigo. That said, the lap is pretty faded, with some strong whiskering and creases clawing down the thighs. Although we have no on-leg pictures, the stacking and fading we’re seeing on the lower legs would suggest Alden wears these Gustins un-cuffed. We’ve also got a set of super-stacked honeycombs and some nice hem roping to complete the look.
