There’s nothing like comparing a pair of heavily worn raw denim jeans to what they looked like pre-wear. Luckily, for Shawn Chou of Taipei, Taiwan, he remembered to take some before pics of his The Flat Head 3002 two years ago and can revel in the glory he’s achieved today!
During the first 12 months of owning these jeans, they saw wear close to every single day, which really helped knock some of the indigo loose out of the gate. Since then, Shawn has given them a bit of a break but still wears them around three times a week, throwing them through the wash every couple of months.
All of that wear has earned him a good bit of contrast in the tones we see here, spanning through the thighs and noticed best around the knees and and in those crazy honeycombs. They’ve yet to see any trips to the repair shop, but those back pockets might not be reliable too much longer if the stitching gets any looser.
