Fade of the Day – Levi’s Type 3 Trucker Jacket (10+ Years, Unknown Washes)

It’s time for your daily dose of denim fades, and today’s Fade of the Day has been passed down through the generations. This vintage Levi’s Type 3 Trucker Jacket has been used and abused for more than 10 years by Heddels reader Trevor Mccurry—as well as several other family members—contributing to its insanely faded condition today.

Before it ever reached Trevor’s hands, this jacket was worn for years by his grandpa, who regularly had it strapped to his motorcycle when it wasn’t on his back. Trevor has kept that tradition alive, and has worn this jacket for the last seven years whenever he rides his own motorcycle, which has helped the fading intensify.

The current state is a sight to behold, with all-over dirty brown fades that practically scream ‘road dog.’ With a combined 10-plus years on two wheels, it’s no surprise that, at this point, there’s more grit than indigo remaining…ride on!
