Stretch denim gets flack from plenty of purist denim heads, but today’s Fade of the Day shows that stretchiness doesn’t always compromise beautiful denim evolution. These Nudie Skinny Lin Deep Orange’s come from Vincent Darmianto, of Indonesia, who’s earned these fades in just under three years.
During those three years, these Nudies have been Vincent’s second skin. He’s worn them for all his activities, from daily college to hiking. The ultra-skinny fit has led to some super-tight honeycombs, and probably helped those symmetrical whiskers on their way too. Taken with the stacking and hem roping, it appears that these Nudies have the full house of fades! But the best part is how they’ve all managed to emerge through such varied dye loss. Vincent has had these jeans repaired multiple times already, but all the reinforcements only add to the character.
