Fade of the Day – Pure Blue Japan KS-013-WID (1 Year, 4 Washes, Unknown Soaks)

Ross Eugene from Elgin, Illinois takes business casual to a new level for this today’s Fade of the Day. For eight solid months, Ross has worn these Pure Blue Japan jeans while at the office, hiking, kayaking, and doing car repairs. Talk about a break-in regimen.

Unlike impacted teeth, which are a real pain,  Ross’s impacted fades are deeply rooted, causing robust creases that even surgery could not remove.  The indigo in the knees have gotten out of dodge leaving behind nothing but jagged lines and worn fabric. The spider webs of honeycombs vary in shape, size and, definition, which gives the back of the knees a layered, infinitely textured appearance. Warning, do not look too long, you WILL get lost in them ‘combs.

Normally, jeans fade from top to bottom, as in, the further down you go, the less fading you see. Yeah, these \ fades aren’t normal. Although the area immediately after the knee seems barely scratched, the fading re emerges right around the mid shin, projecting a pure, blue (Japan) watery reflection. Its rare that we seen jeans with fades so pronounced so far down. Apart from a small pocket bag repair, these jeans are still roaring to go. However, due to weigh loss, Ross is hanging up this masterpiece. Don’t cry that its over, be happy it happened.
