Fade of the Day – Rogue Territory SK 14.5 oz. (17 Months, 8 Washes, 1 Soaks)

Today’s Fade of the Day from Rudolph Caoi from Baguio City, Philippines shows what is possible in a year and a half with a pair of Rogue Territory SK 14.5 ouncers.

Rudolph has been faithfully wearing these jeans four times a week, has washed them eight times, and has soaked them once. The result is a bright washed-out pair that might have vintage denim heads doing a double take. The fades blend in perfectly, giving subtle details throughout the pair like shy honeycombs and timid whiskers.

These jeans have been worn hard and this shows through in so many ways. However, one rarely seen indicator is the jerky leather tag, often seen on Levi’s jeans dating back to the ’50s or earlier.  It appears that the tag got so stiff that Rudolph used a seam ripper to take it off before it cracked. Or maybe it just fell of naturally? No matter how it was removed, it serves as a nifty little souvenir from an impressive pair of jeans.
