Fans of Oni’s Secret Denim are loving life right about now. Supply of the rare, mysterious denim is usually pretty dried up in the marketplace, but at the moment, an oasis seems to have sprung—a handful of shops all got drops around the same time.
This pair of 20oz. Green Cast Selvedge Jeans seems to have been destined for NYC’s Blue In Green, as this east-meets-west denim has green-cast indigo rope warp yarns and top gray-dyed weft yarns, which, as it fades, will provide a… Blue In Green appearance. As SNL’s Church Lady used to say “How Conveeeeeeenient.”
The low-tension weave provides the Japanese denim with an imprecise character and super slubby hand, which will go a great distance into shaping the look of the jean once you Hulk-smash enough times to help those green fades pierce through. Aside from that, the rest of the details have been withheld in secrecy. Secret denim is as secret denim does.
