Does Iron Heart ever disappoint when it comes to fades? In short, no. Sent in by Belgium’s Wim Behaeghe, this pair of Iron Heart 634S’ have been worn for four and a half years now and they’re more than worthy of a spot in our growing archive of solid Iron Heart fades.
These IHs have all the trappings of a nicely faded pair of raw denim with heavy dye loss on the thighs and seat, and some character-providing damage through fraying, small holes, and general rocking. The honeycombs are slightly on the subtle side but have wrapped around to the fronts of the knees where dye loss is the strongest. Add in some roping on the hems and some killer whiskers and all the Fade Friday boxes are ticked.
Making these jeans even more special is the fact Wim wore them during the birth of his child. Never throw these out Wim – that’s the ultimate hand-me-down.
