Franklin and Poe Knock Boots with White’s

Staying true to the roots of Philadelphia’s leading lifestyle store and its American-made offering, Franklin & Poe have teamed up with esteemed boot makers White’s for a special service boot offering.

The MP (Military Police) boots are modeled on a World War II-era US Infantry service boot. Coming in at 6″ and made of 6.5-7.5oz. full grain leather, this is a boot that every GI would have been craving for. The construction is hand lasted, hand welted and hand bottomed. This allows the boots to be re-soled and re-built over time, as well as being offered with a Dainite or Commando Mini-lug sole when ordered from F&P.

The 18-001 is offered in a burgundy chromexcel leather which harkens back to the ‘jump boots’ worn by paratroopers during WWII. Alternatively, the 18-002 boasts a brown waxed flesh leather will age beautifully which each wear and scuff, like your favorite pair of selvedge denim. Both models also feature three speed hooks for modern convenience.

Both the 18-001 and 18-002 are made to order, so expect 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Available for $525 at Franklin & Poe.
