Today’s Fade of the Day comes to us from Chad LeCroy over in Taiwan. He’s a Levi’s nut with a collection that features special edition denim Air Jordan 4s, cork sole sandals, a leather belt and a lovingly worn pair of 511s featuring some subtle honeycomb action and nice fading.
Having bought them six years ago, Chad’s washed these jeans roughly once every 12 months and has soaked them a total of 10 times – one rather unconventional occasion took place on his Taichung balcony during a heavy storm. This pair has blue gradients and fades that accentuate the weave, along with a few rips and scuffs. We’re also pretty impressed that after all this time, Chad kept these thrashed classics as they are and hasn’t had any repairs done.
