Fade Friday – 3×1 Denim M4 (2 Years, 3 Months, 6 Soaks)

Here’s a brand we don’t often see on Heddels: 3×1. This pair of their M4 jeans also happens to be this week’s Fade Friday.

These jeans come to us from Kevin Phelps in Maryland, who says they’re his go-to jeans around the house and on casual Fridays at work. Kevin says he got them in 2016 and wore them for 9 months, but then he lost weight and they became too loose to wear. That was when he took the “before” shots he included here. After a year, he took these jeans out of the drawer they were collecting dust in, had the waist altered, and has worn them since. He says they’re also just about due for a real wash.

We’re sure the fades will pop a lot more after the first wash, perhaps especially the ones caused by the ostrich leather wallet Kevin used in this back right pocket. Still, the whiskers and honeycombs are no slouches at all either!
