Loyal Fade of the Day readers will know that Sage’s denim makes frequent appearances, and like many Sage pairs, these Ranger 3 jeans have made it to Fade Friday glory!

This 19oz., unsanforized selvedge pair comes to us courtesy of Agus Prasetyo. He calls Jakarta his home, so it’s more than likely that Indonesia’s famed humidity is partly responsible for the high-contrast honeycombs and other fades on this pair. Agus has been wearing these jeans for about 18 months to work and while riding his motorcycle, which you can see evidence of on the super-faded seat. After six washes and three soaks, they’ve gone a nice mid-blue color—a far cry from the deep indigo they started out as. And as for that blowout at the knee, well, Agus hasn’t had it repaired as yet, and we think it looks cool just the way it is!
