Companion Sews Up Cotton/Hemp Blend Italian Selvedge Denim For Its Nevada Jacket

Channeling their inner Spanish cowboy, Barcelona’s Companion Denim are turning their hands to the ranch with the Nevada Denim Cord Jacket. Made from a 14 oz.  60/40 cotton/hemp blend Italian raw selvedge denim, the Nevada means business. But don’t think that means it isn’t the perfect jacket for an ice cold one down at your favorite watering hole, as the Italian brown corduroy yoke and contrast stitching give the jacket a nice relaxed feel.

Constructed using predominantly single-needle stitching throughout, this ornate piece features a Japanese indigo wabash lining for the body and a crisp chambray lining for the sleeves. With a selvedge hanger loop, hidden selvedge coin pocket, leather reinforcements on pocket openings, and darkened laurel wreath buttons, the Nevada jacket is brimming with detail.

Taking on the style of a classic denim blouson reminiscent of early workwear from the American west, denim’s favorite Spaniards have done an outstanding job translating this classic design into a unique piece of contemporary menswear fit for any modern-day cowboy.
