Sugar Cane Blacks Out Its Classic 1947 Jean Exclusively For Self Edge

The Sugar Cane 1947 in double black denim is finally here. After years of waiting, Self Edge finally procured an exclusive collaboration of a full run of everyone’s favorite 40s 501 reproduction jean, in not everyone’s favorite color – black. Now you can wear all black and have plenty of room in the leg while still achieving sick denim fades- you know these are gonna give off those smoky grey fades like all good black denim does.

They’re cut from 13 oz. yarn-dyed black selvedge, a right-hand twill that utilizes a sulfur dyed yarn on the warp, woven with a reactive dyed yarn on the weft. This means they’re very black, until you start putting the work in. And the mid-weight means they’re gonna feel great right from the start, so you can get to wearin’.

Details include everything you know and love from the roomy, high-rise, 5-pocket ’47 fit, including iron rivets, button fly, redline selvedge ID, and a black leather collaboration patch.
