Daffa over in Indonesia has been making mischief in the streets with his Dark Lord Denim from Mischief. Doing his bidding for the last 9 months, these jeans have surely gotten their steps in, being worn for an average of 10 hours at a time, every day! From working and college-ing to hanging out with his best buds, they have become a wearable reminder of his fondest memories.
Striking a chord in the hearts of denim heads everywhere, these jeans feature the sharpest of creases in addition to some serious color contrasts throughout. Our first impression is the washed-out knees which have forked over all the indigo they had left in the bank. As for the dramatic lines, quality over quantity is the rule of thumb with the knees being the clear focal point. Out back, although the seat is pretty well seasoned, it’s the layers of accordion ridges behind the knee that are like a ballad for the eyes.
With a soak done at the 3-month mark and a seawash done at 6 months, this might be the secret sauce to getting high contrast wear. You’ll never know unless you try!
