Beams Plus is one of the handful of brands that I think one could easily wear from top to toe. The brands’ consistent approach of referencing classic menswear items whilst using updated fabrics and adding small modern tweaks rarely falls short.

The Mil Puff Vest this season is another great example of this, taking the schematics of a piece that you’d find in a surplus store in cotton and using a high-quality nylon ripstop outer alongside Primaloft insulation to make it a modern-day winter layering dream.  This simple yet elegant sleeveless design features a two-way Conmar zip closure, welted side zip pockets, and bound arm holes. The aforementioned Primaloft insulation is also present in the neck which can also be adjusted via a drawstring for an even snugger fit. The choice of Olive or Navy will mean no shortage of fits that this vest can complement.
