Jelado’s Westcoast Shirt is Back in Two Shadow Plaid Wool Blends

Debate East Coast vs. West Coast Hip Hop as much as you like, when it comes to shirting, the Westcoast is the best coast. And that’s ‘cos of Jelado‘s Westcoast Shirt, of course. The Japanese label’s calling card buttondown is back in two seriously sexy shadow plaid variants which I’m going to predict won’t be staying on the shelves of Clutch Cafe for very long.

You know the score with these 90/10% wool/nylon shirts. Made in Japan in the image of 1950s American shirts from the likes of Pendleton, Woolrich Sears, and more, but even better, owing to that sprinkling of repro excellence under the guidance of Yohei Geito. What’s special about this release, though, is just how hard Jelado has hit the proverbial nail on the head with two perfect shadow plaid colorways. Both are gorgeously autumnal but have the versatility to work through spring over a longsleeve tee with some chinos, raws, or fatigues. It’s hard to lose with such classic plaid action.

Coming in a boxy silhouette with a straight hem, each Westcoast Shirt is finished with dual chest pockets, contrasting buttons, and a Jelado Starry Gate neck label.

Available for $240 from Clutch Cafe.
