Fatherhood. It eventually happens to most of us guys. Priorities change and the considered curation of a wardrobe just isn’t as important as it once was. But one piece that certainly never changes, no matter what life throws at you, is a faded pair of jeans. It’s one of the consistent things in life, and if fatherhood has any affect on it, the fades will tell the story.

Today’s Fade Of The Day comes from Jeremy Yunis, showcasing his dad-worn 20-month-old Unbranded UB201’s. A father of two, Jeremy gets involved in a lot more crawling, rolling, wrestling, and general romping around than the average dude, and his jeans tell the tale.

All that play has led to a ton of indigo loss throughout. The one exception is the indigo retention where the jeans have creased, which has produced some excellent high-contrast fades with some sweet whiskers and some super-sweet honeycombs. This is the look pre-faded jeans try to nail down, but they just can’t quite achieve the realistic depth of contrast that this pair has.
