It’s time for Fade of the Day, and Levi’s is here to serve up some serious ’60s vibes with this pair of 501 STF’s, submitted by Wei Xiang Lian of Taiwan. Wei has been wearing these jeans for two years, and he’s earned some charming, vintage-style fades that look like they’re straight out of Woodstock 1969.

Three washes and a single soak were enough to lighten up these Levi’s to a stonewashed-tone, and everyday wear has helped carve out some fades in our favorite places. The lap has pretty much faded to white, but some subtle whiskers have managed to emerge through the dye-loss. And on the reverse, a solid set of honeycombs reflect how hard Wei has rocked these jeans.

The stark stack fades and the roping that’s developed down the inseam and around the hems completes the look here, and the lack of repairs needed just goes to show that you can’t mess with a good ol’ pair of Levi’s.
