Fade of the Day – Tenjin Works BE302 Belt (6 Months)

Time for some more leather fades for today’s Fade Of The Day feature. This strap was sent in from a mystery reader in Thailand, his belt made by Tenjin Works, marking the first time the brand has appeared in our FoTD section.

These belts are some of the pinkest natural leather we’ve personally ever seen, so it’s a pleasure to see one after it’s developed a patina. After just six months of daily wear, this belt has taken to a deep caramel tone with plenty of stretches where it’s even darker, near black, from being handled. Even the brass hardwear is taking on some color change as well.

Our favorite part: the pop of contrast from the stitching which has miraculously found a way to remain mostly white. Lovely color, lovely patina.
