If the cold weather has given you the urge to beat up some denim, then Iron Heart is here with the IHM-20 — an overdyed denim M-65 — that you can beat up ’til it’s black and blue.
It’s constructed from 14oz. selvedge indigo denim, which has been overdyed black to achieve the darkest possible tone. With enough wear and the occasional wash, the black dye will crock and fade to reveal shades of indigo underneath.
Based on the M-1965 field jacket introduced to the US-military in the mid-60s, the IHM-20 features four external patch pockets, one internal pocket, and a throat latch, all of which fasten with snap buttons. In addition to adjustable drawstrings at the waist and hem, the IHM-20 features a double fastening of snaps and a two-way YKK zipper, and bi-swing shoulder pleats for that military edge.
Available at Iron Heart for $550.
