Junya Watanabe MAN and Levi’s team up every so often for a designer take on a classic pair of five-pocket jeans. This year’s collab is another inventive abstraction of the classic Levi’s blue jean with plenty of extra fabric for practically unlimited fade and wear potential.
The Herringbone Cotton Camo Denim Indigo x Khaki pant is a patchwork reproduction of the quintessential Levi’s 505. This garment features many of the details that make the 505 what it is, a straight fit with a mid-high rise and a zip fly. Watanabe gets more inventive by adding a camo panel for the seat and crotch gusset as well as a herringbone lower half on the cropped legs.
Made in Japan with brass hardware, this collab ups the ante with crazy-cool details like leather cuffs and stealthy Levi’s arc-style yoke stitching.
