Andika Kausar from Indonesia has worked on his Samurai S710xx 19 oz. jeans for the last two years to create a fade masterpiece. He didn’t include anything in his submission besides pictures which tells us one thing: he knows his fades are nasty. No need to explain or justify anything, the wear speaks for itself.
With 5 washes and 2 soaks under its belt loops, these jeans have a grainy, washed-out texture that provides a vintage backdrop to some big league fades. The lap down to the knees have a symmetrically satisfying fade infestation with lines seemingly chiseled into the very soul of the denim itself.
The flip side goes even further with its comic book style fades striking around the worn-in seat. Can’t you just picture a “kapow” or “pow” or “zap” written across back pockets? The cavernous honeycombs rand subtle roping on the hems round this pair off out perfectly.
