This week’s Fade Friday comes to us courtesy of The Worker Shield, who sent us over some of their favorites from their fade archives. An Indonesian brand we don’t see too often, something tells me The Worker Shield is going to have to shield their stock from throngs of frantic faders after this submission.
This pair of SH 011X Straight Leg Jeans belong to a a guy named Mohammed, who clearly likes to wear the same pair of jeans over and over again. Strange right? For the last 3 years, our guy has churned out some ridiculous wear. Through what has to be a rigorous routine, Muhammad has been liberal with the washes, which helps give the jeans that extremely washed out appearance. Like left out in the sun for decades unprotected from the elements type beat.
From their fossilized, robust whiskers and combs to their dramatic dye loss, these jeans push the limits of whats possible with a pair of jeans in just 3 short years. And what’s most remarkable of all is that they still have plenty of life left in them, not indigo obviously – in that regard, it’s a ghost town.
