Today’s installment of Fade Of The Day features a pair of raw denim jeans that have seen a different life than our usual fade submissions. We often have the shredded jeans of hikers, motorcyclists, campers and laborers on show, but Arie van den Berg, of The Netherlands, tells us he spent 4 weeks sunbathing in his Levi’s 501 STF before he gave them their first soak.
Some hard wear must have come since, as Arie has repaired the crotch, seat, and legs himself using denim patches. They may not be the most faded jeans we’ve seen by a long shot, but we still have some subtle honeycombs, whiskers, and interesting pocket fades to boot.
