Fade of the Day – Lee Storm Rider (~8 Years, 1 Wash)

Do you remember what you were wearing in 2011 (we may or may not)? Well, today’s Fade of the Day goes back that far. That’s when Heddels reader Josu Koivisto of Finland bought this Lee Storm Rider and has worn it since.

During the past 8 years and 3 months, Josu has given this piece just one wash. Incredibly, it’s also had no repairs during all that time. There’s a bit of fraying at the bottom and under the forearms, but that’s about it in terms of damage. The corduroy collar and blanket lining? Both seemed to have held up marvelously.

As far as fading goes, they’ve taken on some nice, overall fades, but nothing wild. Perhaps it’s made of Lee’s fabled left hand twill?
