PBJ’s Double Indigo 1167-WID Offers Stretch, Slub, and Selvedge

The new Pure Blue Japan 1167-WID 13oz. Relaxed Tapered Double Indigo jeans are for the indigo-dyed, slubby denim obsessed. AKA most of us here at Heddels, and most everyone reading this, I’d wager.

PBJ’s all about that sweet blue leaf, it’s even their logo, if you weren’t aware. For the uninitiated, double indigo jawns like these use dual indigo-dyed yarns in their construction.  Normally, denim utilizes a blue warp yarn and a white or natural weft yarn. That means they’re going to fade extra blue… like a bright electric blue.

With PBJs extra slub stretch denim, you’re going to be left with a slubby jean covered in indigo lightning strikes, which will be easy to achieve with the added elasticity in the jean making them easier to wear every darn day. Yep, the 1167-WID is cut from a 13 oz. 97-3 cotton/poly blend denim. It’s time to stop worrying about that bbq gut and slip into some new denim.

Each pair of 11670WID comes detailed with custom metal buttons on the button fly, the pernially relevant 5-pocket design, tonal PBJ indigo leaf logo on the backside in lieu of a red tab, a lambskin waist patch, tonal stitching, PBJs signature bright indigo selvedge ID, and chain stitched hem and waistband.

Available for $240 from Hinoya.
