The bird has landed at Grant Stone in the form of the Field Boot Kango in Tobacco Ostrich leather. What, you don’t already have a pair of ostrich leather moc-toe work boots? Well, now might be a good time to grab some, if rare birds and boots are your thing.
The thing about Ostrich leather is that it’s incredibly textured while being soft and highly malleable, allowing it to conform to your big stompers better than nearly any other leather out there. So, if you’re looking for a short break-in period, these Kangos are a worthy consideration. Or, if you’re simply looking for a solid work boot, you could do far worse than the GS Kango.
They’re all done up with Goodyear welting on the GS Floyd last, so you can resole them again and again down the line. Other deets include: comfortable natural-toned Wedge Sole, Kip leather lining, brass hardware, veg-tan leather insole/welt/insole, cork filling and steel shank, and leather stacked heel counters.
Available for $540 from Grant Stone.
