The Unbranded Brand delivers no-nonsense denim, and Philippe Schlauch, of Minnesota, took the no-nonsense approach whilst wearing his UB201s. For 20 months, he wore them for whatever life as a college student threw at him, and whenever they picked up any damage, he patched them up and kept going.
Philippe did a lot of cycling in these jeans and working in a liquor store meant he often found himself hauling kegs around. These activities are what has led to those crispy, wide-set honeycombs and whiskers, but they’ve also led to the extensive damage. The crotch has already been repaired but is now victim to some serious blow-out; we’ve all been there!
Unfortunately, Philippe has now grown out of these jeans, but judging by how hard he wore this pair, his next pair of raws are certainly in for a beating.
